WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a holistic, energy healing technique that promotes mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Reiki comes from the Japanese words REI, which means Universal and KI, which means energy.
HOW DOES REIKI WORK?
WHAT IS REIKI USED FOR?
Reiki is used for physical healing, emotional healing, relaxation, stress reduction, and general wellness.
HOW IS REIKI PERFORMED?
All of the cells within our bodies and brains are made of electromagnetic energy vibrating at specific frequencies. Disturbances in the flow of this energy can result in physical and emotional stress.
During a Reiki session, the practitioner channels the Universal Energy to the 7 main energy centers of the body, called Chakras. This technique restores the natural flow and vibration of our energy needed for balance and healing.
Reiki can be performed through in person or distance healing sessions.
During an in person session, the Reiki practitioner uses light touch to channel the energy for healing.
During a distance session, the energy is channeled without the practitioner and client being in the same physical space.
DR. ANGELA BLEECHER
As a doctor of physical therapy with over 10 years of experience, I have come to know that healing takes place on multiple levels: mind, body, and soul. And it is only through addressing each dimension that the highest level of healing can be achieved. With my expertise based in physical healing, I decided to embark on a Reiki certification program in order to expand the scope in which I can assist healing in this world. So I am now stepping forward as a Reiki practitioner to provide energy healing as I hope to continue to be a vessel of love, positivity, and self healing.
